OMISTA Credit Union in Moncton, NB, hosted a Youth Bowling Extravaganza on Friday, May 30th. Seventy-two OMISTA employees and youth from the community attended the fun event. A team of employees from OMISTA organized the night of bowling as a means to raise awareness among youth about the Credit Union system. The main objective of the organizing committee was to plan a fun event for OMISTA employees and their invited youth guests; secondly, the committee hoped that the youth in attendance would leave with Credit Union on their minds. The committee hopes to plan more events for youth in the community in an effort to attract and retain youth as owners and potentially future employees and directors.
