Are you an environmental leader? How about someone you know? Whether it is a grade three student or a corporate executive, everyone has the potential to be an environmental leader. And while every effort counts, those who inspire others to follow a positive example, go the extra mile, or break new ground, are making a special contribution to New Brunswick’s future.
Nomination forms for the 2008 Environmental Leadership Awards will be available for Earth Day (April 22nd), and will be accepted until June 20, 2008.
Be Heard, Be Seen, Be the TEEN VOICE across Atlantic Canada. Teens are no longer relying on outside Zines to have their work Seen! Teens Now Talk Magazine is a new Halifax-based magazine, written by teens for teens, filling a very real need in Atlantic Canada. Finally teens have a chance to express themselves and be published.

Cool Co-op Contest!
The Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge is designed to bridge the gap between the high schools and the business community. The challenge will help students become better prepared to face the opportunities ahead and this initiative will enable participants to develop leadership, communication, and presentation skills, as well as enhance their ability to conceptualize and create projects.
There are three categories:
New Product – Winning team receives $1,500.00 cash prize
New Service - Winning team receives $1,500.00 cash prize
Summer Venture – Winning team receives $1,000.00 cash prize
Social Justice Youth Camp
Our sixth annual camp is an opportunity for youth (ages 14-19) to learn how to engage in social change work in the world – how they can make a difference. Lots of games and dynamic activities mixed with politics and action. Join youth from all over Atlantic Canada to discuss strategies against racism, make videos and zines, build alliances, and have a whole lot of fun! A diverse team of young adults from the region who actively live their lives working for social change will facilitate the camp.
